Commissioned by Dee Swim club we completed our biggest project yet at Mounthooly roundabout – a 10ft high mural celebrating the people of Aberdeen – and their directions!
Inspired by the idea of folk saying ‘Far ye gan?’ in the passenger seat while traveling in circles around one of Aberdeen’s busiest roads, we approached Dee Swim Club with the idea. They loved it and were wholly supportive throughout.
We needed a platform to reach the top of the piece – and even then stood on our tip toes. We started this project at 10am on the Sunday and finished it at 7pm on the Monday after a total 15hrs working non-stop.
Best of all – this piece has an amazing view from the road and we love driving past it every day.
